David Forman's battalion, Heard's brigade, 1776 and was promoted major the same year. He was born in Woodbridge, where he died."
Note: married 1st, Sarah Ford, she died, 1768, leaving a 3 yr old dau, Mary. See James Parker, printer, will. Sarah was listed as married to Samuel Parker, as his 1st wife, an error.Note: father James, did not like his son's personal habits, idleness, women, lying, etc as shown in letters to Ben Franklin.

(Bedford info by Samuel Eugene Parker.)Note: In Article 16 of Henrietta's will, she left a large black letter bible, printed in 1566, which belonged to her great grandmother Jana Parker, to the Delaware Historical Society. It appears to be missing today (2016). The Bible as examined by Gordon Bond(2002) was in very bad condition; pages removed, pages cut out, extra pages inserted, falling apart, loose sections, etc. One page, photographed, has the signatures of Jana and her children (1728-1730). It is very hard to read some entries. I have this photo and have placed it in this file. See Williams Paschall biog., fig 3.
